DOVER, Del. (AP) — Casey Walker scored 20 points and Marques Oliver had a double-double as Delaware State defeated Maryland-Eastern Shore 64-53 on Saturday night in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opener for both teams.
The Hornets (3-3) outscored the Hawks 37-26 in the second half, breaking a 27-27 tie at the break. Oliver had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Desi Washington added 16 points for the Hornets. Jay Threatt had 10 steals for Delaware State.
