Man Sentenced In Record Producer's Death
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prosecutors say a man convicted of killing a record producer has been sentenced to 140 years in prison.
Jamaal Alexis, 24, was sentenced Tuesday. He was convicted in October of second-degree murder of Raymond "Scotty Beats" Brown in 2006.
Prosecutors say Jamaal Alexis ordered his brother, Rashadd Alexis, to kill a witness in the Brown case. Rashadd Alexis will go on trial in March.
