Baltimore's Power Plant Live Getting Makeover
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore's Power Plant Live, an entertainment area one block north of the Inner Harbor, is getting a makeover.
Officials with the Cordish Cos. say the project will include a permanent outdoor stage with video screens and covered by a 50-foot-high glass canopy. That feature is expected to be ready by summer's concert season.
A country-themed bar called PBR Baltimore, which stands for Professional Bull Riders, is expected to open in the spring. A new tenant, Tatu Asian grill, opened recently.
Cordish officials also said they are close to completing a deal to bring in a 7,000-square-foot restaurant concept in space formerly occupied by the Improv Comedy Club.
