Frederick Police Get Warrant For Robbery Suspect

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the robbery of a downtown convenience store. 

The warrant was issued Monday forAaron Rupert, 39. Police say he robbed the store early Sunday. 

Police say Rupert entered the store armed with a knife, jumped over the counter and tried to open the cash register. Police say when he couldn't get the register open, he fled the store with it.
