Frederick Commisioners Drop Their Pensions

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- The Frederick County Commissioners are quitting the county's employee pension plan.

The all-Republican board voted Thursday to eliminate pension eligibility for themselves and future commissioners.

Board President Blaine Young says the change will save $40,000 per year.
