Man's Body Found Near Branch Avenue Metro Station

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a man's body has been found along Suitland Parkway in Temple Hills.

U.S. Park Police spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser says the body was found south of the parkway along the tree line, on National Park Service property, on Sunday. The site is not far from the Branch Avenue Metro station.

Schlosser says Maryland medical examiners were trying to identify the man and the cause of death.
