Boy Scouts Rescued From High Water In Md.

WHITE'S FERRY, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County fire officials have rescued a group of Boy Scouts who became trapped by high water while camping near White's Ferry.

Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham said Monday morning that 24 Boy Scouts and their advisers who were camping overnight were unable to leave a campground site due to high water surrounding them. Officials used boats to ferry the group to dry land.

No injuries have been reported.
