FORESTVILLE, Md. (AP) — Police in Prince George’s County are investigating after a female pedestrian was struck and killed by a car.

Police say the crash occurred just before midnight in Forestville, on Pennsylvania Avenue and Donnell Drive.

The woman has been identified as Dorothy Lewis-Gray, 47.

Police say she was struck by two vehicles, the first as she tried to cross the road and the second as she was already on the ground.

Police say the driver of the first car stopped at the scene, but officers are still looking for the driver of the second car that fled.

Lewis-Gray was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Based on what I read in the newspapers, every police report of shopliftings and fights in stores start with things like this. This is s prelude of what to expect this spring and summer as police say on the news and in the papers. My fiancee did some window shopping at Lakeforest Mall and observed a customer getting into an altercation with a cashier at a CVS store over a change in price on an item.
