Cumberland City Administrator Resigns

CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- Cumberland City Administrator Jeff Repp says he's resigning after 17 years.

Repp's resignation letter was noted during a City Council meeting Tuesday. He'll step down June 30.

The Cumberland Times-News reports that Repp was recently named as one of six candidates for the city administrator position in Willmar, Minn.

Repp says he applied for that job because he wants to be closer to his Midwestern roots.
