Salisbury Festival Celebrates 29th Year

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury is hosting the 29th annual Salisbury Festival this weekend.

The festival includes carnival rides, midway games, bands and carnival food. This is also the second year for a beer garden where visitors can sample more than 50 craft beers, some of them brewed locally. About 500 people are expected to pay $30 to patronize the festival's beer garden on Saturday. Local brewers Evolution Craft Brewing of Salisbury, 16 Mile Brewery of Georgetown, Del., and Dogfish Head of Milton, Del., will be represented.
