Hagerstown Airport Staging Disaster Drill
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A disaster drill at the Hagerstown Regional Airport has something for every emergency responder.
Officials say the drill Monday evening will simulate a mass-casualty aircraft incident and a criminal act of violence.
A spokesman says the exercise is designed to test the airport's emergency and security plans while meeting the objectives of participating local agencies.
The federal government requires such exercises every three years.
