Properties On Tentative List For County Tax Sale
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Washington County's tax sale is set, and more than 500 properties on a tentative list to be auctioned.
The sale, set for June 7, offers properties for sale with taxes owed. Bidders can offer that amount, plus interest and penalties.
Among the properties on the list is the former Allegheny Energy headquarters, purchased in 2008 by Vinayaka Missions America University for a college, hospital and trauma center. Those have not materialized.
