FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Hood College in Frederick says it’s giving Apple iPads to all of its approximately 300 incoming freshman.
Some of those attending orientation sessions Monday told The Frederick News-Post the gift factored into their decision to attend the private, liberal-arts school.

He says the program will be evaluated this fall to determine if the college should continue to give iPads to freshmen.
