BLOG: New Storm Approaching

A new storm is moving our way. Most of the area stayed dry today ahead of it, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will move across the state starting tonight. Expect some showers and thunderstorms to be scattered about through the day tomorrow, as the storm is still moving through. Clouds will mix with some sunshine, and temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s for highs. Just as soon as this storm gets out of here, another will follow on Monday.

A new warm front will move our way with clouds and spotty showers on Monday. This will keep out temperatures in the mid 80s. However, when the warm front clears us for Tuesday, a new rush of hot and muggy air will move our way starting on Tuesday. Highs will jump back to the 90s and we will be talking about a heat index once again. There could be a late-day thunderstorm popping up in this kind of air mass Wednesday, then a better chance for late-day thunderstorms Thursday as a cold front moves our way.
