I assume you have heard by now about the Gold Cup post game which was conducted in Spanish. If you haven’t the basic facts are these; the US lost to Mexico in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl and the post game ceremonies were conducted completely in Spanish which sent US goal keeper Tim Howard into a rant laced with a few expletives because he felt since California is still part of the United States, English should have been the language used.

I must admit that I agree with him, it seems that in our efforts to comfort every person from every country in the world while they are in our country we offend those who actually live here and pay the taxes. I, like Tim Howard am getting pretty sick of the pandering and think his anger was justified. Did I mention this all took place in Pasadena, California?

Enough with this politically correct non-sense already…we are getting tired of it.

I agree with him, mostly BUT, there’s a bigger issue here, like WHY did you allow 4 goals tim? You had a terrible game! I haven’t recalled any ceremonies that werent in the language of the country where it took place though!!
