Cardin To Meet With Wounded Soldiers

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Sen. Benjamin Cardin will be meeting with wounded military personnel at the National Naval Medical Center.

Cardin is scheduled to tour the Fisher House and the National Intrepid Center of Excellence on Monday in Bethesda.

The center is dedicated to advancing clinical care, research and education of service members who have experienced combat-related traumatic brain injuries and psychological health conditions.

Cardin will hold a media availability after the tour to talk about the federal budget. Cardin, a Democrat, is a member of both the Senate Budget and Senate Finance Committees.
