Pylesville Girl, 14, Struck And Killed By Vehicle

PYLESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a 14-year-old girl has been struck and killed by a car while crossing a street in Harford County.

According to The Baltimore Sun, police say the Pylesville girl was hit by an SUV about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2200-block of Harkins Road. The teen was taken to a hospital in Baltimore, where she was pronounced dead.

Officials had closed the road for about two hours while they investigated.
