Track Work On 4 Of Metro's 5 Lines This Weekend
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Maintenance work on four of Metro's five lines will cause delays of up to 20 minutes for travelers this weekend.
Track work begins Friday at 10 p.m. On the red, blue, orange and yellow lines, trains will share one track on various parts of the lines, leading to delays of up to 20 minutes.
Metro says it will be doing the work to make a smoother ride for customers, as well as to repair platforms and upgrade stations.
