GERMANTOWN, Md. (AP/WJZ) — It’s the new trend in crime: flash mob thefts. And it’s happening here in Maryland.

Adam May has more on the robbery at a Germantown 7-Eleven store.

Montgomery County Police are investigating a robbery of a 7-Eleven in Germantown by more than two dozen people.

Police say the so-called “flash mob robbery” happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

The group of about 24 people entered the store, stole snacks, drinks and other items and left after about one minute.

Police have identified several of the suspects through surveillance video.

A police spokeswoman says she doesn’t know how the robbery was organized.

This started off harmless, snowball fights, pillow fights, people dancing to Thriller, and now it has been co-opted and turned into shoplifting and beating people in the street and in their car. What in the world is wrong with this country.

Just look at the video. That will explain why this is happening along with the beatings.

These people are nothing more than animals. They travel in packs and prey on the helpless. In one word they are “cowards” with complete advantage. Without this advantage they are nothing.
