Accident in Anne Arundel Co. Sends Several People To The Hospital
CROFTON, Md. (WJZ)-- A serious accident in Anne Arundel County has sent several people to the hospital.
Police say a vehicle nearly hit several pedestrians on Route 3 and Johns Hopkins Road near Crofton. Investigators say the car that brushed the pedestrian stopped and people started to get out of it when another car slammed into the back of it.
Police say a 30-year-old man was seriously hurt. He was flown to a trauma center.
As many as seven others were taken to the hospital to get checked out. A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized in serious condition.
An investigation into the accident is now underway.
