Stolen Vans Prompt Concern In Terror Threat's Wake
TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are looking for two stolen vans.
Spokesman Cpl. Evan Baxter says the two white Ford Econoline vans with U-Haul lettering were stolen at different times from two different U-Haul lots in the Temple Hills area Saturday. Police issued an alert for people to be on the lookout for the vans that, like all U-Haul vehicles, have Arizona license plates: AE15192 and AE 10807.
Baxter says there's nothing about the situation that leads police to believe they are anything other than stolen vans, but in light of recent terror threats they are taking extra precautions.
