Funeral Conducted For Slain Bowie State U. Student
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A funeral service was held in southeast Washington for a Bowie State University student who was stabbed to death in her campus apartment.
Family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Dominique Frazier, 18, of Washington on Friday at Assumption Catholic Church on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Prosecutors say Frazier was stabbed to death last week by her roommate, 19-year-old Alexis Simpson, after the women argued about music playing from an iPod. Simpson has been charged in the slaying.
