Programmable Thermostat Settings Can Save Money

BALTIMORE (WJZ) ― Experts say now is the time to install a programmable thermostat.

Mary Bubala reports the average household spends more than $2,200 a year on energy bills.

You can save -- on average -- $200 a year by using a programmable thermostat.

The key is saving money without sacrificing comfort.  Establish a program that automatically reduces heating or air conditioning in your home when you don't need it as much.
