DNR Trout Stocking Underway In Md. Waterways

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland fisheries officials say trout stocking is underway statewide.

The Department of Natural Resources says about 25,000 one-pound rainbow and golden trout are being stocked along with smaller numbers of brown trout and larger rainbow and golden trout. The stocking began in early October and is expected to be completed by the first week of November.

DNR says stocking dates and locations are dependent on water flow and temperatures.
