School Bus Struck By Vehicle In Prince George's

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police say 10 students have suffered minor injuries after the school bus they were riding in was involved in an accident.

Police spokesman Cpl. Evan Baxter says the school bus was rear-ended by an SUV in the 4800-block of Temple Hills Road about 8:25 a.m. Monday. Baxter says the students were taken to a hospital with neck and back complaints.

Baxter says the driver of the SUV fled the scene on foot.

He says the bus was taking students to Thurgood Marshall Middle School when it was struck.
