Lanes Of Route 50 In Md. Shut Down After Accident
MITCHELLVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle accident involving a truck on Route 50 in Prince George's County.
Police say the truck collided with two cars in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Lottsford Vista Road in Mitchellville about 3:40 a.m. Monday. The crash caused the truck's cargo area to detach from the rest of the truck.
The accident had shut down all eastbound lanes of the highway between Martin Luther King Junior Highway and Collington Road, but by about 6:15 a.m. one lane of traffic was getting by.
