BLOG: What A Day Weatherwise!

With sunshine, we warmed all the way up to 71 degrees this afternoon! That is just a few degrees shy of the 80 degree record and way above the average of 59 degrees.

Areas of dense morning fog will give way to sunshine again tomorrow. There will be some clouds moving in as the next front approaches, but we are still going up to the mid 60s again tomorrow afternoon.

This next front will weaken significantly as it moves our way. Expect clouds to come in tomorrow night and scattered showers from it Thursday into early Friday. Then, the front will sweep out of here Friday afternoon - taking the warm air with it.

Highs will drop into the low 50s Friday behind the front. However, this cool air will not last long. Temperatures will start climbing once again over the weekend.

An aside...Subtropical storm Sean has formed in the Atlantic off the Southeast coast. It is going to hang out there and then make a turn off to the east - being directed by the front moving our way.
