Teen Charged In Fire At Grandmother's House
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say an 18-year-old has been arrested in a fire at his grandmother's house in Hagerstown.
Jordan Caleb Timberlake was arrested Thursday and charged with malicious burning and other offenses. He is being held on $15,000 bond.
The one-alarm fire was reported Sunday about 2:05 p.m. Some three dozen firefighters from several departments battled the blaze for 25 minutes before bringing it under control.
The State Fire Marshal's Office says Timberlake started the fire when he was playing with a lighter.
