DOVER, Del. (AP) — Pina Guillaume made a jumper with 31 seconds left in overtime to help Maryland-Eastern Shore beat Delaware State 63-60 on Saturday night.
The Hawks (4-12, 1-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) led by as many as 12 points early in the second half. Maryland-Eastern Shore trailed 60-59 with 1:42 remaining in OT after Delaware State’s Casey Walker knocked down a 3-pointer. But the Hawks pulled ahead for good on a jumper by Guillaume — his only
score of the game.
Ronald Spencer scored 17 points and Percy Woods added 13 for Maryland-Eastern Shore.
Oliver had his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets (4-10, 1-2), who lost their seventh straight. Walker led Delaware State with 15 points and Tahj Tate
