Fla. Man Dies In Single-Car Crash In Md.
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a Florida man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Westminster.
It happened shortly after midnight on Friday on Route 140.
Troopers say a truck driven by Edward Myers Jr., 53, of Fort Myers, Fla., was traveling east in the westbound lanes.
Police say the truck crossed back into the eastbound lanes, hit a guardrail and a utility pole before stopping off Route 140.
Myers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
