Police Arrest 3 In Connection With Cab Robberies
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say three suspects have arrested in connections with two cab robberies.
Police say Jamel McInnis, 18, of Clarksburg, Brandon Addison, 21, of Gaithersburg and Kevin Olaniyi, 20, are all charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of first-degree assault. All three were arrested between Jan. 24 and Jan. 30.
Police say the first robbery happened Jan. 10 in Clarksburg, where the Regency Cab driver was stunned with a stun gun and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. Police say a Regency Cab driver was also stunned on Jan. 15 in Rockville.
The drivers in both cases suffered minor injuries.
McInnis is due in court on Feb. 17 and the other two suspects are scheduled to appear on Feb. 24.
