Prince George's Co. Police To Introduce New Inspector General

PALMER PARK, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County are introducing their newly appointed inspector general.

The department will introduce Carlos Acosta at a news conference at police headquarters Wednesday morning.

Police will also reveal the results of an initiative to fight crime in the month of January.

Among the officials scheduled to attend the news conference are County Executive Rushern Baker, State's Attorney Angela Alsobrooks and Police Chief Mark Magaw.
