Wagner Defeats Mount St Mary's 74-57

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (AP) -- Jonathon Williams scored 19 points to pace four players in double figures for Wagner in a 74-57 win over Mount St. Mary's Saturday night.

Latif Rivers added 15 points, while both Chris Martin and Tyler Murray had 11 apiece for the Seahawks (20-4, 12-2 Northeast Conference), who pulled within one game of conference leaders LIU-Brooklyn. Wagner has won six straight since losing to the Blackbirds.

Both Martin and Rivers hit three treys to lead the Seahawks, who were 8 of 16 from long range (50 percent). The Mountaineers were just 3 of 11 from beyond the arc (27.3 percent).

The Seahawks led for nearly the entire game, going up by 15 at the break and 24 points at one juncture midway through the second half. They outscored the Mountaineers 31-29 in the final 20 minutes to seal it.

Raven Barber had 16 points to pace Mount St. Mary's (6-19, 4-10).
