MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) — A Maryland man charged in West Virginia with killing a caged kitten has accepted a plea deal.
Justin Michael Beall, 23, of Pasadena, Md., is charged in Berkeley County with felony animal cruelty. Court records show he agreed last week to plead guilty to misdemeanor animal cruelty.READ MORE: Derby Winner Medina Spirit Still Expected At Preakness After Failed Drug Test
Berkeley County assistant prosecutor Timothy D. Helman tells The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown, Md., that a judge could order Beall to serve up to six months in jail, perform community service and undergo counseling and anger management.READ MORE: Catherine Pugh: Inside The Case
