Metro Operating Fewer Trains On Holiday
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro trains are operating on a Saturday schedule as a result of the Presidents' Day holiday.
Metro opens at 5 a.m. Monday and closes at midnight, the regular weekday times, but trains will run less frequently.
Customers expecting to ride Metro trains should also be aware of track work that is continuing through Monday. On the orange and red lines free shuttle buses are replacing trains in two places because of the track work. Customers traveling through the work zone should expect 20 to 30 minute delays.
