Md.'s Blackwater Refuge Hosting Eagle Festival

CAMBRIDGE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland's Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is home to one of the nation's largest breeding populations of bald eagles and the refuge is hosting an eagle festival this weekend to celebrate the majestic birds of prey.

The festival at the refuge near Cambridge on the Eastern Shore is scheduled rain or shine on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Activities include displays of live birds, including eagles, hawks and owls, walks through the refuge, educational programs and
children's activities.
