Oakland Man Dies In ATV Crash
OAKLAND, Md. (AP) -- The Garrett County Sheriff's Office says a 34-year-old Oakland man died in an all-terrain vehicle crash.
The sheriff's office says David Shillingburg was operating a 2003 Yamaha Raptor ATV Sunday on Smith Drive near the rural community of Deer Park when he failed to make a turn and traveled into the woods. Authorities say the ATV rolled on top of Shillingburg.
Investigators say they are awaiting information from the state medical examiner's office about the cause of death.
