Ribbon Cutting Scheduled For Elder Care Facility

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley is scheduled to attend the ribbon cutting for a new elder-living facility.

Officials are expected to host the ceremony at the Green House Residences at Stadium Place on Thursday afternoon.

The new residential buildings at the site of the former Memorial Stadium are part of a complex of housing for senior citizens.

According to Catholic Charities of Baltimore, which developed the homes with Govans Ecumenical Development Corp, the buildings are designed for 12 older adults.
