Frederick To Use Gun To Scare Away Birds
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick officials will use a bird gun to scare the animals from the Split Rail Court area.
The Department of Public Works will be in the area Tuesday through Friday, at sundown, weather permitting.
The News-Post of Frederick reports that workers will use a firearm that produces a very loud sound.
The birds are in trees between the curb and sidewalk or a median area.
Officials warn they can only provide temporary relief from the birds.
