4 Hurt, 1 Seriously, In Frederick Brawl

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick County authorities say about 60 people were involved in an outdoor brawl that left four young men injured, including one who was seriously stabbed.

The sheriff's office says deputies broke up the fight about 1 a.m. Tuesday outside a townhouse development on Black Creek Lane just south of Frederick. An agency spokeswoman says the melee began as a party.

She says the injury victims range in age from 17 to 23. Three were treated at hospitals for stab wounds or other injuries and released. The youngest remained at Shock Trauma in Baltimore Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators are seeking information from anyone from who attended the party or knows what led to the fight.
