City Dealing With Second Water Main Break In 2 Weeks
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Another water main breaks in Baltimore City.
A 16-inch main broke on Kirk Avenue in Northeast Baltimore just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. Water got into some basements in the area.
The Department of Public Works says it's concerned about the pipe because this is the second time it's ruptured in three years.
A little over two weeks ago, another 20-inch main broke on Light Street downtown.
Repairs there are expected to last another three weeks.
