Md. Woman Recovering After Arrow Injury To Head

DAMASCUS, Md. (AP) -- A Montgomery County woman who was struck in the head by an arrow has been released from the hospital.

Family members of the woman told The Washington Post that she was released shortly after the accident Tuesday night.

Police say the accident happened as people were taking target practice outside a house on Moxley Road in the Damascus area. The woman was struck after the arrow went through a bale of hay and then ricocheted.
