14-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck By Car

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A 14-year-old bicyclist has been struck by a car.

According to police, shortly before 1 p.m. Monday, a 2010 Nissan Murano struck the teen while he was biking through a crosswalk. The driver, 65-year-old Yyacheslav Guzeyev, had a green light. Police say the teen was biking through a red light with a "Don't Walk" signal.

Guzeyev was not injured.

The teen was airlifted to Johns Hopkins Children's Center. He is in serious condition.
