Anne Arundel Co. Police Investigate Fatal Hit-And-Run
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County police are investigating a fatal hit and run on Solomons Island Road off of Harwood Road.
According to police, the pedestrian was crossing Solomons Island Road when he was struck by a car traveling northbound. The car fled the scene.
The car has been described as a 2003 Volkswagen Golf MK4. Police say there should be significant damage to the passenger side, including the grille, bumper, windshield and mirror.
The pedestrian's name has not been released.
