Tanker Explosion Closes Route 222 & Main Street In Port Deposit

PORT DEPOSIT, Md. (WJZ)-- The Cecil County Sheriff's Office says a tanker overturned and caught fire around 9:30 p.m. Friday. Officials say the tanker was carrying propane.

Maryland State Police have closed Route 222 and N. Main Street where the explosion happened. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Police are at the scene investigating.
