SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) — A man who was high on PCP when he crashed his truck traveling into a car stopped at a red light has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Andre James Kaczynski of Ocean Pines was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison.

Prosecutors say Kaczynski, 48, was traveling 90 miles an hour in Ocean City on Dec. 16 when he crashed into a car stopped at a red light.

Ann Marie DelRiccio and her 18-month-old daughter Ava were critically injured. The child was left with severe brain damage.

Ava’s father George DelRiccio said in court that Ava won’t see again, or be able to feed herself.
