Officer Won't Face Charges In Shooting That Left 13-Year-Old Girl Dead
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore police officer will not face charges in connection with the accidental shooting that killed a 13-year-old.
Monae Turnage was shot inside an East Baltimore home in March. Two pre-teen boys admitted to dumping her body in an alley.
The rifle that killed her was later found in the personal vehicle of Officer John Ward.
WJZ's media partner, The Baltimore Sun, reports prosecutors will not bring charges against him.
