Frederick Man Indicted For Selling Needles Online
GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say a Frederick man has been indicted on charges of selling hypodermic needles online without requiring prescriptions.
An 11-count indicted returned Wednesday also accuses Ronald Dalessandro, 48, of filing false tax returns and failing to file a tax return.
Prosecutors say Dalessandro owned The Needle Beast, LLC, through which he sold hypodermic needles and syringes online. Authorities allege Dalessandro did not require customers to provide prescriptions, verify their ages or complete medical questionnaires.
Dalessandro also allegedly underreported his business income.
