Scooter Driver Dies After Colliding With A Car In Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- A scooter driver has died after he collided with a car in Dundalk Sunday.

Baltimore County police say the accident happened at 12:10 p.m. at the intersection of Trappe and Church roads. Police say a Pontiac Vibe was making a left turn from westbound Trappe Road onto Church Road when the 47-year-old scooter driver traveling east on Trappe Road hit the Pontiac.

The scooter driver was taken to the Bayview Medical Center where he died.

Police say his name will not be released until his next of kin are notified. They continue to investigate the incident.
