Md. Probing Missing Page On Some Absentee Ballots

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland State Board of Elections is investigating what caused a missing page in some absentee ballots in Prince George's and Montgomery counties.

Gov. Martin O'Malley said in a statement on Wednesday that the board has confirmed that about 15 absentee voters are missing a second page.

The governor says residents who have requested an absentee ballot should check to make sure they have a complete ballot with a second page that includes questions 4 through 7 as well as any of the local county-related questions.

The questions on the second page include several issues. They include whether to allow same-sex marriage, gambling expansion, the state's congressional redistricting map and in-state tuition for illegal immigrants under certain circumstances.
